More about the musicians
Their live performance has many configurations from Lauren performing solo to a quartet when they are joined by drummer John Mettam and bassist Jeff Song. They were joined on this particular recording by guest performers drummer Kimberly Rullo, guitarist Kate Finn, pianist Suzanna Sifter, bassist Ruth Mendelson and saxophonist Bob Zung.
Lauren and Cindy met at Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1979. Recognizing that their styles complimented each other they formed the band Two Tru. They went on to form the Feather Records recording label in 1989. Lauren began teaching at Berklee in 1985 and is now an Associate Professor there.
